Kashyap trains at Gopichand Badminton Academy and he won gold at 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. He was awarded Arjuna Award in 2012 from the Government of India.

The couple is all set to marry on December 16 and a grand reception will be held on 21st December. After this, Saina will get busy with Premier Badminton League and then the Tokyo Games will begin soon.
